This year’s musical is Little Shop of Horrors and will be presented 11/2, 11/3 and 11/4 at 7pm in the MV Auditorium. Extend the Halloween  season and go see this production. Fabulous sets, skilled high school talent and a HUGE plant with personality, make this musical one not to miss!

Seymour Krelborn is a nerdy orphan working at Mushnik’s, a flower shop in urban Skid Row. He harbors a crush on fellow co-worker Audrey Fulquard, and is berated by Mr. Mushnik daily. One day as Seymour is seeking a new mysterious plant, he finds a very mysterious unidentified plant which he calls Audrey II. The plant seems to have a craving for blood and soon begins to sing for his supper….

Marching Band – October 2017

The MVHS Marching Mustangs, featuring a variety of Coldplay’s songs this year, ended their season with Senior Night at the 9/29 game. The seniors and their parents were recognized on the field before the game started.  A pre-game banquet for students and faculty was hosted by parent volunteers.

Following the dinner, marching band students and their families gathered in the auditorium for Awards Night which included recognition of every band student, a slide show and a traditional skit put on by the section leaders.

Once again, the MVHS music faculty devoted countless hours and unending talent and energy to provide an amazing marching band experience for all participants. THANK YOU!

During the course of the season, many parents gave numerous volunteer hours during the Marching Band season.  Special kudos to…

  • Volunteer Chair:  Jeanne Sheehan
  • Uniform chairs : Kathy Kiefer and Leslie Miller
  • Banquet chairs : Beth Knowles and Martha Baker
  • Color guard chair :  Cindy Brennan
  • All Marching Band parents who served as a trip chaperones, helped with uniforms, served on the pit crew, or at the game water stand and helped at the end of the year banquet.  THANK YOU!

Please visit the Marching Band page to learn more about the Marching Mustangs!
